TWO EXHIBITIONS:
1. PALACE ART- FEST,
The Bishop's Palace, Hereford, Herefordshire
23 - 30 August 2010
My work will be on show at the Palace Art-fest in Hereford with that of fellow artists. If you are in the area please do try and visit the exhibition.
This will be the first year that I have taken part in this event and I feel very priviledged to have been selected.
The six works on show are acrylic on canvas and cover subjects from East Africa and Beirut, as well as images that echo moments of the past.
The Paintings are:
1. Turkana Woman
2. Samburu Warrior
3. Beirut Smoke
4. Hubble Bubble
5. Ball of Wool
6. Kitchen Sink
These are all new works and have never been exhibited before.
WEST MALVERN ARTS FESTIVAL
20th to 22nd August 2010
This is the first year of this new and exciting event. Up to 50 Artists will be displaying and selling their work between the Brewer's Arms Pub and the new Elm International Centre, West Malvern, Worcestershire.
My work is located at Location B which is The Garage, Grevis Cottage, The Dingle which is located adjacent to the Brewer's Arms in West Malvern (a good place to stop for refreshments).
There will be 14 of my paintings on show at this location, five of which will be for sale: Sentinal 2, Red Couch, Sarajevo Boy 1999, Pebbles and Weeds, Turkish Doll Dish and Cushion, Siblings and Sentinal 2. Each painting has a story. The stories are on display and next to the associated painting.
I hope that if you are in the area of West malvern between the 20th and 22nd August you will be able to take the opportunity to visit the various exhibition sites.
